I have made myself a calendar/list to remind myself to take care of ME but in a different way:
Read His word - 1 chapter in Proverbs for every day this month and twice on the 30th. (Praying through Proverbs)
Take my daily vitamin supplements - (I take Life Long Vitality by doTERRA)
During November I am also using other supplements - Cleanse and Restore (also by doTERRA)
I weighed myself (as a get back on track starting point - not as depressing as I thought it would be but not ideal)
Made a daily list of chores (asks of kindness towards my family)
My dog would appreciate a few walks thrown in for extra good measure.
I know that it's an intentional choice to do these things above. It's daily. It's not glamorous. It's not recognized. It's not praised by others. But that's okay. I know in my heart this is what I need to do to be healthy: emotionally, mentally, spiritually and physically.
What I need: Hold me accountable. Ask me how I'm doing with these goals. Walk along side me. Help me. Pray for me.
I want to do the same for you too. Don't be a stranger or too busy. This is where we get overwhelmed, trying to do it on our own. If you are in the same boat then let's row together. I'd love the company.
